Smoky Hill Silver gift certificates can be purchased at the Chamber office and redeemed at participating Chamber-member businesses. The new certificates are now legal tender in the form of a check that shoppers can use for purchases at participating Salina Chamber-member businesses. This new format allows merchants to handle the certificates as they would a personal check. Processing the certificates in their regular bank deposit is much more convenient than the previous method which required the certificates be redeemed at the Chamber office by the merchants. Participating merchants will display a Smoky Hill Silver decal indicating their acceptance of the certificates.

“This program is about keeping dollars in the Salina area economy and about supporting purchases made at Chamber-member businesses,” stated Dennis Lauver, President/CEO of the Chamber. “These changes make the gift certificate much easier for merchants to accept and for shoppers to use.”

The new certificates will be preprinted on an 8 ½ x 11 inch sheet in denominations of $10 and $25, allowing spaces for several Chamber member logos that will be sold on an annual basis.
