“The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Salina area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, industrial and educational interests of the area.”

The Chamber’s primary role is economic development – the creation of new jobs and payrolls in the community. But, in addition, the Chamber works on many “action fronts” to be sure there is total community development, and opportunities for individual growth and fulfillment.

Simply stated, the Chamber is business, professional, and individual people working together to make the Salina community a better place to live and work.
