The historic Stiefel Theatre of the Performing Arts presents exciting performances including Martina McBride (5/8), The Indigo Girls (6/1) and Three Dog Night (7/11)!  The best live theatre between Topeka and Denver can be discovered at Salina Community Theater, with "Harvey" running through April 19 and "Kiss Me Kate" opening June 13. Even beyond performance, from galleries to exhibitions to an eclectic public art collection and great films, Salina IS about the arts.  Salina Art Center is nationally acclaimed for their exhibitions and programming. The Art Center Cinema features cutting-edge films every evening. Public art is accessible across the community on thoroughfares and buildings, in parks and alleyways.  SculptureTour Salina is an exhibition of sculptures on loan from artists from across the country.  The 2014 exhibit will be revealed on Saturday, May 17, complete with an "Unwrap Party" on Campbell Plaza, 11am-2pm downtown. Join us for great entertainment on the stage, tour the new exhibit, vote for your favorite and enter to win prizes!  Plan NOW for THE midwest arts event of the year - Smoky Hill River Festival - June 12-15! Salina has more music, poetry and performances across the community.  For more information, go to salinaarts.com.
