All American Team
The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce All-America Team was organized in 1989 after Salina’s recognition as an All-American City. This team of volunteers serves as an extension of the Chamber’s Ribbon Cuttings and Ground Breaking ceremonies. This group of community members have two responsibilities, to assist in the ribbon cuttings, including taking a photo op during the ceremony, and to welcome and/or congratulate the business owner on their recent accomplishment. In short, these All-Americans serve to be the face of the Chamber to new members, businesses with new ownership, and entrepreneurs whose place of business has undergone location change/renovations.
This team attends between 3-6 Ribbon Cuttings per month. In order to join this prestigious group of volunteers, you must have a schedule that allows for flexibility to attend Ribbon Cutting events. New All-Americans will also be asked to purchase the infamous red coat, donned by all members of the team.
