Workforce Development Advisory CouncilThe Council sets strategic goals and objectives for Chamber's services to address the workforce quantity and quality needs of Salina's employers. Council members include representatives from business, industry, military and education as well as the Chamber’s Director of Workforce Program Development and its Workforce Outreach and Recruitment Specialist. The Council meets quarterly. Recruitment, Retention and Assessment Task ForceThis task force assists Chamber staff in the nuts and bolts of providing workforce development services. Members include employers, human resource professionals, employment service providers, secondary and post-secondary education representatives and Workforce Investment Act and Kansas Department of Commerce staff.
