Final details are set as the Salina Fire Department and the City of Salina prepares for the 2nd Annual Central Kansas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and SK Family Fun Walk. This year's event will be at Kansas Wesleyan University, JRI Hospitality Stadium on Saturday, September 09, 2023. The 5KFamily Fun Walk will circle the K.W.U. campus. Registration/checkin will open at 7:30 AM and the opening ceremony will commence at 9:00 AM.

The third on-campus residence hall facility has officially opened and is ready to house students for this upcoming academic year at Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus.
The 33rd Annual Employment Expo is scheduled for Thursday, October 5th from 11am to 2pm at Tony's Pizza Events Center in Salina. The event is jointly sponsored by a partnership between The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Eagle Communications, City

OCCK Transportation is pleased to announce the continuation of the Fall Pass for the CityGo “Get On & Go” program for Salina area youth ages 7-18.
Youth ages 7-18 will be able to purchase a Get On & Go Fall Youth Bus Pass for $10. The pass will be good for unlimited rides on Salina CityGo from September 1 to November 30. Youth must show the drivers their “Get On & Go” pass when they board the buses. Face masks and social distancing policies will be followed as needed. SALINA — David Boles has been named the executive director for flight operations at Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus.
As the executive director, Boles will oversee all flight-related activities and strategic planning for the department. He will serve as the Federal Aviation Administration, or FAA, chief flight instructor and will be responsible for the safety and quality of all K-State flight training. Salina, KS – OCCK, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of its More Than You Think Scholarship for 2023.
The scholarship was established as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration of OCCK in 2020, as a long-term reminder of the good work that past generations have done, and that future generations will do, in working with people with disabilities in north central Kansas. |
