OCCK, Inc. Transportation will have reduced hours for the Christmas and New Year holidays this year. All services, including Salina CityGo, 81 Connection, Regional Paratransit, GoAbilene, GoConcordia, and KanConnect public transportation, will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2023, for Christmas.

​Heather Wagoner has been named the executive director of communications and marketing at Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus. She will lead strategic efforts in communications and marketing for the campus's prospective and current learners, alumni, and external and community partners.

​For the 41th year in a row Bill Fekas is planning to prepare a free community-wide Christmas dinner, and the Salina chef is still in need of a little support.

Kansas State University will see nearly 1,300 candidates for graduation this fall at commencement ceremonies set for Friday, Dec. 8, in Manhattan and Salina and Saturday, Dec. 9, in Manhattan. Candidates from both the summer 2023 and fall 2023 semesters will be recognized.
