Mental health is becoming increasingly important within today’s societal culture, and as the stress levels of our minds and our bodies inflate, it is important to do what we can to let ourselves deflate. Well, on September 26th, 2022, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Myne Body & Soul to the community with a successful inaugural ribbon cutting ceremony! Branded as a “mental health gym”, Myne Body & Soul is doing exactly that and doing what they can to help the community heal by mind, body, and soul. Owner Ben Lee, and operator Erin Kerby whole-heartedly believe in their ability to help renew the body and mind, and after trying it myself, I can say that it is definitely something you need to experience to truly understand. Ben’s vision partnered with both Erin and Ben’s shared love for helping people and watching them leave happier makes for an extremely motivated and passionate team. “It’s not a complete fix for bodily and mental health issues, but it should be used in complement with other bodily and mental health services” says operator Erin Kerby, explaining that “in between physical and mental therapy sessions, there is no other relaxation support readily available to people who need it, that’s where we come in”.
Myne Body & Soul offers three distinct rooms, the forest, ocean, and cosmic rooms in order to offer an experience catered to whatever relaxation needs their clients have. In each of the three rooms available to you for $1 per minute, Myne Body & Soul utilizes three of the most non-invasive, cutting-edge, rest and relaxation technologies available. From the vibracoustic bed that makes you feel like you’re floating on a calm lake without getting wet, to their state of the art 4-D massage chair, into their halotherapy, infrared, dry-salt sauna with chromotherapy, to a variety of handheld massage guns, heating and cooling eye masks, and electric head massagers, Myne Body & Soul is devoted to making your experience unlike any other. The staff employs a very hands-off approach allowing you to fully experience relaxation to its fullest potential, and your time doesn’t start until the door closes. Although their business hours are officially 11AM to 6PM throughout the week for walk-ins, the staff is also extremely flexible and made it a point to say that they are willing to work with clients and their hectic schedules by allowing them to schedule after hour appointments within reason.
