Lee Hardware Lofts: A Historic Rehabilitation Continues

This project represents the continued redevelopment of the Henry D. Lee complex, marking a significant milestone in the historic rehabilitation of the downtown area while addressing the pressing need for affordable housing options in the community.

Lee Lofts Phase II is the result of successful collaboration between Overland Property Group, Flint Hills Holdings Group, the Community Housing Development Corporation of Central Kansas, Bennington State Bank, Redstone Equity, Inc., the City of Salina, and countless others. This innovative development preserves the historical significance of Salina while providing modern amenities and high-quality housing for individuals and families in need.

Situated in the heart of Salina, the iconic Lee Hardware building has been meticulously designed by local architect, JGR Architects, of Salina to offer 50 residential units and over 8,000 square feet of commercial space. The development includes a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, catering to a variety of household sizes and needs. Construction is expected to begin with Kansas based General Contractor, MCP Build, in July.
